Immaculate and absolutely fantastic rooms with shared bathrooms and a microwave oven, an electric kettle, and a fridge. Paid US$ 8211. Stunningly beautiful area, central location not far from a big grocery store, and the supermarket.

Had an amazing Christmas stay at this beautiful rural home! The hosts were incredibly helpful - they picked me up from the train station and even drove me to the start of the trail the next day. The traditional Japanese room was spacious and comfortable, with warm roll beds. The complimentary tea and coffee were a nice touch. The location was quiet and had a stunning view of the sunset. a fantastic experience!
That the walls were quite thin, so I could hear everything happening in the neighboring room. However, the other guests were considerate, so it wasn't a major issue.

Our stay at Kumano Kodo Nagano Guesthouse was amazing! We spent one night here before hiking the Kumano Kodo trail. The hosts were incredibly helpful and warm-hearted, picking us up from the train station and driving us to the trailhead the next morning. They provided us with an informative map of the trails and the starry evening sky outside the guesthouse was breathtaking. The location, nestled in the beautiful mountain landscape, was perfect. The traditional rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable, and the hosts made us feel right at home. We can't recommend this hotel enough!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Great place to relax and explore. Hiking trails available for those who enjoy nature. Loved the concierge service and the beautiful garden. Also, who doesn't love a fire extinguisher for safety?
Oh, just the small inconvenience of sharing the bathroom with others and being woken up at dawn. How delightful!
